Abstract: | Robert J. Lee was a Master Sargent in the U.S. Marine Corps stationed on Guam when the Imperial Japanese Army invaded Guam and present when the American Flag was taken down from its flagpole. He wrote of his experiences and titled it “I Saw the Flag Come Down.” |
