Description: | Mr. Martin Tourigian of Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania donated a copy of the painting Baltimore Orioles and a score for the song Tango Guam. A letter from John D. Morvant states that the score was forwarded to the Micronesian Area Research Center (MARC) as agreed between the University of Guam and Mr. Tourigian. A proposal to donate the painting to the Isla Center for Arts was made as the painting was better suited to the Isla Center’s mission than that of MARC. |
