Abstract: | Ever since the end of Naval Administration of the island of Guam, there has been a push for the Department of Defense to return land taken from the Chamorro people, the indigenous inhabitants of Guam. These records describe land under Department of Defense Control that was to be released to the civilian government of Guam for return to the original owners or their descendants. |
