Abstract: Education is a lifelong process. All healthy societies require a trained and educated workforce for their continuity and growth. To meet challenges for the future, Guam must provide for educational institutions of excellence in learning, research, and service for individuals and organizations. This theory also applies to all institutions of higher education seeking renewal and self-improvement, as well. The College of Business and Public Administration (CBPA) was no exception to this rule. The process of renewal is never an easy one. For the CBPA, many battles were fought with stakeholders; some won, and other losses. Finally, CBPA succeeded in defining its purpose, i.e., educating and training future leaders of the Island and for the sister territories of the Western Pacific. Because of the successes in the renewal efforts, most of its alumni have become productive and have added value to the lives of their chosen communities, institutions, and the nation.
