The UOG University Libraries Digital Repository contains a collection of works unique to the Pacific region. This repository was made possible through a grant by the Institute of Museum and Library Services, IMLS and National Historical Publications and Records Commission, NHPRC
All holdings of this collection are in Spanish language and include material from the General Archives of the Indies in Seville, the Philippines National Archives in Manila, the General Archives of the Nation in Mexico, the Royal Academy of History in Madrid, the Jesuit archives in Rome and Spain, the Capuchin archives in Spain and Germany, and the U.S. Library of Congress, Manuscripts. Also, the judicial records of the Spanish administration in the Marianas are housed in this repository. Finding aids for records in the SDC can be accessed through an A-Z list, or through the subject list. (The digital finding aids project was made possible by a grant from the National Historical Publications & Records Commission).
The SDC is a secondary repository and holding's provenance must be cited and reproduction requires permission from the primary repository, with the exception of the judicial records of the Spanish administration in the Marianas housed in this repository.
